Testing for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) has been going so well that Federal Student Aid has announced that the FAFSA will be available to all applicants prior to December 1. No exact date has been given but it could be as early as today!
Once the 2025-26 FAFSA is available to all, a working link for the 2025-26 FAFSA will be available on the FAFSA home page. Keep in mind that students who are applying for financial aid for the 2025-26 academic year need to complete the 2025-26 FAFSA (not the 2024-25 FAFSA as that is to apply for financial aid for the current year).
As always, we anticipate the period when the FAFSA first opens to be busy. Sticking with the original plan to file the FAFSA after December 1 still makes sense, but we wanted to make you aware of this opportunity.
