Celebrating Excellence in Academic Integrity
Dear Gorham High School Community,
It is with immense pride and excitement that I share the outstanding accomplishments of our English teacher, Ms. Stein, and two of our remarkable students, Zsa Zsa Dolley and Aspenelle de los Reyes. Their contributions to the International Day of Action for Academic Integrity (IDoA) 2024 have brought well-deserved recognition to Gorham High School on an international stage.
Under Ms. Stein’s leadership, our students explored the importance of academic integrity through innovative research projects, highlighting the value of ethical decision-making and doing their own work. This effort not only deepened students' understanding of academic ethics but also showcased the creative and critical thinking skills that define Gorham High School students.
Special congratulations to Zsa Zsa Dolley, whose "Making Academic Integrity Everyone's Job" post was awarded Best Social Media IDoA Post on the 2024 Theme and Best Entry Overall. Additionally, Aspenelle de los Reyes earned recognition for her visually stunning post, "Swimming Towards Academic Integrity," which was awarded Most Visually Appealing IDoA Social Media Post. Both entries are now proudly featured on the IDoA webpage.
This recognition from the International Center for Academic Integrity (ICAI) underscores the importance of engaging students in meaningful conversations about integrity and ethical choices. Gorham High School continues to lead by example in preparing students not only for academic success but also for principled leadership in the future.
Congratulations again to Ms. Stein, Zsa Zsa, and Aspenelle for embodying our school’s core values of respect, honesty, and responsibility. Let’s celebrate their achievement and look forward to future opportunities to showcase the talents and character of our community.
Sincerely,
Principal Jandreau
