Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) Instructor

The Gorham School Department has an opening for an ELO instructor.  A bachelor’s degree is required and preference is given to candidates with experience working successfully with adolescents and community partners.  The successful candidate should possess the following:

●       Skills in research, planning, relationship building, and community relations.
●       Self-directed learner with an ability to work independently and also with a team while managing multiple priorities.
●       Ability to develop nurturing and supportive relationships with students
●       Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and share best practice;
●       Interested in innovative approaches;
●       Demonstrated commitment to social justice and equity of outcomes for all students;
●       Capacity to utilize technology to enhance practice;
●       Interest in participating in the school community outside of the classroom.
