Employment Opportunity with First Parish Church in Gorham - Christine Dyke, Minister, First Parish Church, is looking for two Childcare Assistants for Sunday mornings at First Parish Church. This would be for 2 hours/week, from 9:30am-11:30am each Sunday morning. The pay would be $16 per hour. They are looking for two people 14 and older to take initiative with and care for young children on Sunday mornings. Responsibilities include assisting the Sunday School teacher and caring for children under 4 years old. SENIORS - Scholarship Opportunity: The UMaine Pulp & Paper Foundation Scholarship is now available to interested seniors planning to enroll in the UMaine College of Engineering; seniors planning to enroll at UMaine and study Chemical, Mechanical, Computer/Electrical, or Civil Engineering, as well as Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology or Forestry are eligible for these scholarships. Recipients are required to complete at least two semesters of PAID co-op or internship experience in the Pulp and Paper Industry and you then graduate in four years with the significant advantage of nearly a year's worth of experience, or more, in your field.
