Nichols College is inviting high school students to discover your leadership potential at their Women in Leadership Brunch at Nichols College! The Women in Leadership Brunch will take place on Friday, November 6, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm at the Daniels Auditorium, at Nichols College. Students will enjoy complimentary brunch, make connections through networking bingo, and discover your leadership style through an interactive activity. You’ll also hear Nichols students share their experiences during the Women Who Lead student panel, presented by the Institute for Women’s Leadership. It’s an opportunity to explore how you can lead, both in and out of the classroom! Scholarship Opportunity: The Clyde Russell Scholarship Fund is now open for any seniors planning to attend either a four year, or two year Maine Community College. Awards for those who attend a four year college will not exceed $10,000. Awards for those who plan to attend a Maine Community College will not exceed $2,000. This award will be to cover tuition, room, board, books and fees. Awards are paid directly to the winner, half upon receipt of each semester grades. In granting the awards, the Trustees will consider personal traits and qualities, extracurricular activities, community activities, academic ability, motivation, and personal goals and objectives. Each year the Trustees will decide the number of scholarships to be awarded. Runner-up finalists will receive $500 in recognition of their outstanding achievement and/or cultural contribution. A personal interview will be required of all finalists on the date specified in the application in order to be considered for an award. Interested seniors can go to clyderussellscholarshipfund.org for more information, and/or to download the scholarship application. More information can also be found in the Guidance Office. The deadline to apply is February 1st.
